Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea)
Wildflowers, Engineered to Succeed.
Purple Coneflower is one of the most recognizable native wildflowers, known for its bold purple petals and strong, upright growth. Each seed is enhanced with GermiSync™ and formed into a coated pellet, so you get same-season germination, clean planting, better spacing, and more uniform growth. The result is fuller, more consistent blooms without the mess of loose seed.

Where It Grows
Purple Coneflower is native to the Midwest & Northeast and Southern Plains, commonly found in prairies and open woodlands.
Native states: CO, NM, TX, OK, KS, MO, AR, IA, IL, IN, OH, KY, TN, etc. (not native to UT, CA, NV, AZ)
Can grow in: Purple Coneflower grows well in the Great Plains, Midwest & Northeast, and Southern Plains, and can also be grown in the Mountain West with proper watering during establishment. It prefers full sun to partial sun and well-drained soil, and becomes drought tolerant over time.
RAKE
Clear away weeds and debris, then rake the soil until it’s loose and fluffy. Good prep helps the seeds make proper contact with the soil.
SHAKE
Shake pellets directly from the seed shaker. Because each pellet contains a single seed, spacing stays even and planting is controlled.
PRESS
Walk over the area or press the pellets into the soil with your hands or feet. This helps keep them in place and improves seed-to-soil contact.
WATER
Keep the soil consistently moist for the first 14 days to kickstart germination.
