A New Way To Grow Wildflowers.
Pale Evening Primrose is a hardy native perennial with large, soft white blooms that often fade to pink as they age, creating a beautiful display from late spring into summer. Its seeds are incredibly small and naturally dormant, so each one is prepared with GermiSync™ to help overcome dormancy, then formed into a visible seed pellet for easier, more accurate planting. Now you can finally grow this stunning native wildflower with far less guesswork.
Pale Evening Primrose (Oenothera pallida) is a native perennial of the western United States, naturally growing across desert foothills, open shrublands, rocky slopes, and sandy soils where it thrives in hot, dry conditions. It is well adapted to challenging landscapes and is an excellent choice for water-wise native gardens.
Native states: AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, NM, OR, UT, WA, WY
Best suited for: Full sun, well-drained sandy or rocky soil, dry to low moisture. Extremely drought tolerant once established. Spreads gradually over time to form natural colonies, making it ideal for naturalized landscapes and pollinator gardens.
RAKE
Clear away weeds and debris, then loosen the top inch of soil. Good prep helps the seeds make proper contact with the soil.
SHAKE
Shake pellets evenly across your area (~1 inch apart). Each pellet contains one seed, so spacing stays consistent and planting stays controlled.
PAT
Rake or pat seeds snug into the soil. This keeps them in place and ensures strong seed-to-soil contact.
WATER
Water once or twice daily. The soil should look dark, like a damp sponge for the first 2-3 weeks to to kickstart germination.
