Rocky Mountain Penstemon (Penstemon strictus)
Wildflowers, Engineered to Succeed.
Rocky Mountain Penstemon is a striking native wildflower with tall spikes of deep violet-blue blooms that attract hummingbirds, bees, and other pollinators. Germination can be slow and inconsistent without proper treatment. Each seed is treated with GermiSync™ to help trigger germination and formed into a visible seed pellet for easier planting and more reliable establishment.
Covers 30 sq. ft.
Mountain West states with mid to high elevations (CO, WY, UT, NM, MT)
RAKE
Clear away weeds and debris, then loosen the top inch of soil. Good prep helps the seeds make proper contact with the soil.
SHAKE
Shake pellets evenly across your area. Each pellet contains one seed, so spacing stays consistent and planting stays controlled. (~50 seeds per sq. ft.)
PAT
Rake or pat seeds snug into the soil. This keeps them in place and ensures strong seed-to-soil contact.
WATER
Water once or twice daily. The soil should look dark, like a damp sponge for the first 2-3 weeks to to kickstart germination.
