Baby Blue Eyes, Made Easy.
Menzies Baby Blue Eyes is a favorite amongst native annuals because it blooms early and does great in part shade. The seeds are tiny and hard to see, so we we pellet them. With our seed shaker they spread evenly and you can see right where each one goes.
Covers 50 sq. ft.
Net Wt. 2.2 oz
California Coast states, edging into the Pacific Northwest (CA, OR, NV)
RAKE
Clear away weeds and debris, then loosen the top inch of soil. Good prep helps the seeds make proper contact with the soil.
SHAKE
Shake pellets evenly across your area (~1 inch apart). Each pellet contains one seed, so spacing stays consistent and planting stays controlled.
PAT
Rake or pat seeds snug into the soil. This keeps them in place and ensures strong seed-to-soil contact.
WATER
Water once or twice daily. The soil should look dark, like a damp sponge for the first 2-3 weeks to to kickstart germination.
