Globe Gilia Seeds, Made Easy.

One pellet. One seed.

Native bee and butterfly magnet

Globe Gilia is a unique native wildflower that produces round clusters of lavender-blue blooms, attracting bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators. Its tiny seeds can be difficult to see and sow evenly, often resulting in uneven coverage. Each seed is formed into a visible pellet for easier planting and more precise spacing.

Covers 30 sq. ft.

RAKE
Clear away weeds and debris, then loosen the top inch of soil. Good prep helps the seeds make proper contact with the soil.

SHAKE
Shake pellets evenly across your area (~1 inch apart). Each pellet contains one seed, so spacing stays consistent and planting stays controlled.

PAT
Rake or pat seeds snug into the soil. This keeps them in place and ensures strong seed-to-soil contact.

WATER
Water once or twice daily. The soil should look dark, like a damp sponge for the first 2-3 weeks to to kickstart germination.

These grew with minimal maintenance, and they are beautiful! I wasn’t going to do anything with this space this year, so it was an easy way to brighten my backyard. The entire prep and planting process took about half an hour. I shook them in mid-May, and they started blooming in June. I should have been better about pulling weeds, but they’ve done super well regardless.
