Firecracker Penstemon is a spectacular native wildflower with brilliant red flower spikes that attract hummingbirds and brighten western landscapes. Germination can be slow and inconsistent without proper treatment. Each seed is treated with GermiSync™ to help trigger germination and formed into a visible seed pellet for easier planting and more reliable results.

RAKE
Clear away weeds and debris, then loosen the top inch of soil. Good prep helps the seeds make proper contact with the soil.


SHAKE
Shake pellets evenly across your area (~1 inch apart). Each pellet contains one seed, so spacing stays consistent and planting stays controlled. 


PAT
Rake or pat seeds snug into the soil. This keeps them in place and ensures strong seed-to-soil contact.


WATER
Water once or twice daily. The soil should look dark, like a damp sponge for the first 2-3 weeks to to kickstart germination.

The owner was great to work with. I had originally ordered seeds that were not going to be appropriate for my area due to a large cattle ranch within very close proximity to us. He took so much time and reshipped the appropriate seeds at no cost. We are going to wait to plant them until the weather gets cooler. I highly recommend this company and will be posting pictures next spring/summer. Thank you Caleb.
