GermiSync™ treated for same season germination

Blue Columbine is an iconic native wildflower with blue and white flowers that provide nectar for hummingbirds, bumble bees, and other pollinators. Its tiny seeds normally need a long cold period and can be difficult to see and plant evenly. Each seed is GermiSync™ coated to skip cold stratification and formed into a visible pellet for easier planting and more reliable establishment.

Covers 75 sq. ft

Mountain West, Desert West; partial Great Plains (AZ, CO, ID, MT, NM, NV, SD, UT, WY)

RAKE
Clear away weeds and debris, then loosen the top inch of soil. Good prep helps the seeds make proper contact with the soil.

SHAKE
Shake pellets evenly across your area (~1 inch apart). Each pellet contains one seed, so spacing stays consistent and planting stays controlled.

PAT
Rake or pat seeds snug into the soil. This keeps them in place and ensures strong seed-to-soil contact.

WATER
Water once or twice daily. The soil should look dark, like a damp sponge for the first 2-3 weeks to to kickstart germination.
