Prepared for Success: Scarified, GermiSync™ Treated & Pelleted

A beautiful lupine with silvery foliage and tall spikes of violet-blue flowers. Silvery Lupine seeds are notoriously difficult to germinate, so each one is scarified, treated with GermiSync™, and formed into a visible seed pellet. Now you can finally grow this stunning mountain wildflower effortlessly.

Covers 75 sq. ft
Net Wt. 2.5 oz (80 g)

Silvery Lupine (Lupinus argenteus) is native across the Rocky Mountains and Intermountain West, covering sagebrush flats, mountain meadows, and open slopes from the Pacific Northwest to the southern Rockies and out onto the northern Great Plains.

Native states: AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, ND, NE, NM, NV, OK, OR, SD, UT, WA, WY

Best suited for: Full sun to part shade, well-drained to dry soil, low to moderate moisture. Nitrogen-fixing — improves soil over time. Drought tolerant once established; best at elevations 3,000–10,000

RAKE
Clear away weeds and debris, then rake the soil until it’s loose and fluffy. Good prep helps the seeds make proper contact with the soil.

SHAKE
Shake pellets directly from the seed shaker. Because each pellet contains a single seed, spacing stays even and planting is controlled.

PRESS
Walk over the area or press the pellets into the soil with your hands or feet. This helps keep them in place and improves seed-to-soil contact.

WATER
Keep the soil consistently moist for the first 14 days to kickstart germination.
