Where It Grows
Black Eyed Susan is native across much of the United States, especially the Great Plains, Midwest & Northeast, and Southern Plains, with its range extending into parts of the Mountain West.
Native states: UT, CO, NM, AZ, TX, OK, KS, NE, SD, ND, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, MI, IN, OH, KY, TN, etc.
Can grow in: Black Eyed Susan grows well in nearly all Fleuryx regions, including the Mountain West, Great Plains, Midwest & Northeast, and Southern Plains. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, and handles heat, poor soil, and drought once established.
RAKE
Clear away weeds and debris, then loosen the top inch of soil. Good prep helps the seeds make proper contact with the soil.
SHAKE
Shake pellets evenly across your area. Each pellet contains one seed, so spacing stays consistent and planting stays controlled. (~50 seeds per sq. ft.)
PAT
Rake or pat seeds snug into the soil. This keeps them in place and ensures strong seed-to-soil contact.
WATER
Water once or twice daily. The soil should look dark, like a damp sponge for the first 2-3 weeks to to kickstart germination.
