Native pollinator magnet

Common Sunflower is an iconic native annual that produces bright golden blooms throughout summer, attracting bees, butterflies, and other pollinators before providing seeds for songbirds in fall. Its seeds can be difficult to spread evenly by hand, often resulting in crowded patches and bare spots. Each seed is formed into a visible pellet for easier planting and more even coverage.

RAKE
Clear away weeds and debris, then loosen the top inch of soil. Good prep helps the seeds make proper contact with the soil.

SHAKE
Shake pellets evenly across your area (~1 inch apart). Each pellet contains one seed, so spacing stays consistent and planting stays controlled.

PAT
Rake or pat seeds snug into the soil. This keeps them in place and ensures strong seed-to-soil contact.

WATER
Water once or twice daily. The soil should look dark, like a damp sponge for the first 2-3 weeks to to kickstart germination.
