RAKE
Clear away weeds and debris, then rake the soil until it’s loose and fluffy. Good prep helps the seeds make proper contact with the soil.
SHAKE
Shake pellets directly from the seed shaker. Because each pellet contains a single seed, spacing stays even and planting is controlled.
PRESS
Walk over the area or press the pellets into the soil with your hands or feet. This helps keep them in place and improves seed-to-soil contact.
WATER
Keep the soil consistently moist for the first 14 days to kickstart germination.
Common Questions
Highland Bloom wildflower seed mix is built on technology no other wildflower product offers. Instead of loose, untreated seed, every seed is individually treated with GermiSync™ and formed into a single-seed pellet. This results in dramatically higher germination success, precise planting with no clumps or waste, and reliable first-season results. The mix contains only native or region-appropriate species for the Mountain West, with zero invasive plants or misplaced seed. This is not a generic wildflower mix. It is a fundamentally different approach to wildflower planting.
GermiSync™ is our proprietary seed treatment that helps wildflower seeds grow when they are planted, not a year later. Many native wildflower species naturally delay germination, which is why traditional wildflower mixes often show little to no growth in the first season. GermiSync™ works with the seed’s natural biology to move past that delay so more seeds actually grow under real planting conditions. This is the reason Fleuryx achieves dramatically higher germination success than untreated wildflower seed.
Yes! Every species in Highland Bloom is native or region-appropriate to the Mountain West and belongs in the ecosystems where it is planted. The mix does not include invasive plants, aggressive fillers, or species that do not belong to the region. Many wildflower mixes claim to be native while quietly including misplaced or problematic species. Fleuryx holds a higher standard and does not compromise on ecological integrity.
Seed balls combine multiple seeds in clay, which creates competition, uneven growth, and frequent failure. Raw wildflower seed is difficult to control and is easily blown away, eaten, or overplanted in one area. Fleuryx uses single-seed pellets. Each pellet contains one seed treated with GermiSync™, allowing intentional placement, even spacing, and significantly higher success. Instead of guessing and hoping, you know where each plant is going to grow.
Yes! Highland Bloom includes a deliberate mix of annuals and perennials, so you see blooms the first season while long-lived species establish below the surface. Annuals provide immediate color, and perennials return stronger year after year. You do not have to wait multiple seasons to know the planting worked.
Highland Bloom will naturally reseed itself and slowly fill in your wildflower patch over time — meaning less replanting and a fuller, more established look each season. But it won't spread all over your property or invade your lawn. Turf grass is highly competitive and will choke out wildflower seeds before they ever get a chance to establish. These are native species that evolved to fit into their environment, not dominate it.
